Brison

Ten kilometres from  Bonneville, perched  at  an altitude of 1,000 metres at the end of a road hewn out of the cliff and with a panoramic view of the Arve Valley , Brison welcomes you in the heart of the villages of Faucigny.

Nestling around its village hall,  school and  church, Brison has all the picturesque charm of a mountain village. Not far from the town, it offers serenity and protection from the commotion of  urban bustle.

If you follow the road you will arrive at the  Plateau de Solaison  at an altitude of 1,500 metres, a plateau which unfolds its vast untouched spaces deep in wild nature.  Winter  and  summer  alike ,  Solaison  hosts a range of different activities : Alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoe hiking, mountain biking, pot-holing, adventure park climbing,
paragliding or just walking... there is something to satisfy everyone. In short, freedom.

A nature track  runs  across the Plateau , marked by six  information desks which  reveal the specific characteristics and abundant natural riches of this area.

Solaison  also means exceptional fauna and flora whose colours and fragrances will  enchant your country walks. From there you can climb to the  Pointe d’Andey  where  you can enjoy a sumptuous view over the valley.

The finest jewel of the pastures, the La Fruitière  chalet-gîte is open all year round  in a setting designed for your well-being  with different types of accommodation. In the  restaurants situated in the pastures you will relive the convivial country simplicity  that brings additional  flavour to the pleasures of eating.

”A high land” that has forged a people of character, Brison-Solaison  invites you to get away from it all and back to the invigorating springs of nature. A mountain village that gives that edge to your  leisure activities
