CLUSES, and the village steeple, much further to the west.
Thyez is developing around three different sectors :
- Industry : The various industrial estates are spread over a surface area of 64 hectares. There are 6 of them ,created between 1970 and 2001. The majority of firms on these estates are screw-cutting and mechanical precision firms.
- Agriculture : THYEZ is the largest farming territory in the valley with 5 full-time farmers and 2 who have a double activity. The territory produces 850 000 litres of milk annually.
- Tourism : THYEZ can boast two bodies of water on its territory. One is reserved for fishing while the other is used for bathing , authorised during the two summer months and supervised by voluntary qualified firemen.

The territory of THYEZ is always seeking to improve its living environment and that is why it has recently developed the lakes leisure area : it has created areas for group games, installed permanent barbecue facilities, realized a walk along the “ Englennaz” stream and linked the leisure area to the Saint Théodule landscaped park.
