From these 7 key points have come3 policies of development .They have resulted in the drawing up of 41 concrete actions with an estimated cost of 14 million euros , that is: 4,151, 000 € of subsidies from the Région.
PUTTING THE RHONE ALPES FAUCIGNY DEVELOPMENT CONTRACT (CDRA) INTO ACTION
Before putting this type of contract into action , a « contract of aims » was drawn up. This was based on an in-depth diagnosis of the territory and enabled the territory of Faucigny to bring out 7 key points :
A dominant activity: screw- cutting and industrial sub-contracting to be supported and diversified.
A structural need for a qualified work-force.
Training : the key point for development.
Support for an environmentally friendly tourist activity.
A form of agriculture which guarantees the quality of the landscape and the environment.
Continuing dynamic population growth..
A growing need for local leisure facilities.

- Advertising the territory of Faucigny and the Arve Valley and the actions implemented is also part of the CDRA’S assignment.
